New instructions have been released for all candidates who have submitted profiles for Express Entry and Ontario’s Expression of Interest system.
Ontario has given a few more specific instructions to aspiring migrators keen to apply for the provincial program. Candidates are required to send complete applications to the OINP. The applications with any missing elements might be returned.
New instructions for submitting complete applications pertain to Ontario Express Entry and Expression of Interest candidates.
New instructions for Ontario Express Entry:
Applicants under the Express Entry stream having foreign education will need an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) to gain points for educational qualifications.
Ontario specified World Education Services (WES) on its official website. Still, candidates are allowed to get their credentials assessed from other designated organizations approved by the federal government, which are listed on the government’s website. Candidates are required to authorize WES to send a copy of the ECA Report for OINP. This can be done by ordering an additional ECA report and then selecting the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program as a recipient.
Candidates will have to share the ECA report with IRCC and OINP; otherwise, the application under OINP might be returned as incomplete and the application fee will be refunded.
New instructions for Expression of Interest Streams:
Applicants under an Employer Job Offer stream will have to submit a PDF copy of the Attestation Form. The form must be printed and signed in ink by the candidate. It should be uploaded under the Supporting Documents in “Other” tab. In the absence of the PDF copy of the Attestation Form under OINP, the application might be returned, and the application fee will be refunded.
Applicants must be careful while submitting their applications as one minor mistake can lead to cancellation of the application.
