Candidates with minimum CRS of 352 in Express Entry, invited for Alberta

As of February 16, 2021, draw details from Alberta, immigrants aspiring for permanent residency in the province are likely to get their dream fulfilled soon. The AINP (Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program) has invited 159 total candidates having at least 352 CRS (Comprehensive Ranking Score) to make an application under Alberta Express Entry Stream. The candidates invited through Alberta’s Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw already had their profiles submitted in the Express Entry pool.

Having received Alberta’s provincial nomination, the invited candidates will have the advantage of getting an additional 600 CRS points to their existing overall CRS points. Thus, Alberta’s provincial nomination will help invited candidates to raise their ranking in the Express Entry pool.

283 Candidates invited under Ontario’s New PNP Draw

On February 2, 2021, 283 immigration candidates in the Express Entry pool were invited to apply for the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).

Express Entry is an online application system that allows aspiring skilled migrators to submit their profiles under three federal immigration programs;

  • Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP), 
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and 
  • Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

The electronic system that helps manage the applications of skilled aspiring permanent residents to Canada is called Express Entry.

As the ambitious applicant fills the online profile, the federal Government examines if the applicant fulfills the requirements to be managed by Express Entry. The applicants that satisfy the eligibility criteria are accepted into the Express Entry pool. Further,they are rankedaccording to CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System), a points-based system that the Canadian Government uses to evaluate the applicants in the express entry pool.
