March 8, 2021, brought good news for 671 aspiring Canadian migrators as the Canadian Government has sent an invite to apply for permanent residency. The candidates invited under this particular draw by IRCC had the least score of 739. The invited applicants already had their profiles submitted in the Express Entry pool. This selection under PNP will help candidates to take their ranking in the Express Entry Pool upward.

The selected applicants had already received a nomination under PNP (Provincial Nominee Program) that has given a lift of 600 points to their total human capital score. Thus, the candidates having the least score of 739 had a score of 139 in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) minus the provincial nomination.
The Canadian Government’s criteria in selecting candidates under this particular draw are the benefits confirmed by them to the regional labor market on getting the Permanent Residency. Considering the services, the Provincial Governments support these candidates with compensation that ensures permanent residency invitation.
The most perceptible thing about the recent draws is the frequency of their occurrence. The last draws happened on February 14, 2021, and the current draw occurred on March 8, 2021, at a difference of 22 days.
Under Express Entry, an applicant fills the online profile which the Federal Government examines. In case the applicants fulfill the eligibility criteria, and acceptance is given into the Express Entry pool.
The Canadian Government selects the highest-ranking candidates via two steps:
- Candidates communicate interest in obtaining Canadian permanent resident status.
- Invitations are sent to the highest-scoring candidates
